Acknowledgement of Country

Principal's Message
Dear Parents and Carers,
Principal Announcement
It is with mixed emotions that I write to inform you of an important decision I have made regarding my position as principal of St. Patrick’s School, Koroit. After much thought and consideration, I have accepted an offer for a new professional opportunity as principal at
St. Pius X, Warrnambool West. My new position is effective upon the commencement of the 2024 school year.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to the entire school community for your unwavering support and collaboration. Together, we have fostered an environment where students have thrived academically, socially, and emotionally. The friendships I have forged, and the achievements we have celebrated will forever hold a special place in my heart.
In the coming semester, I will be working closely with DOBCEL and the incoming principal to ensure an effective transition. Rest assured that the school's best interests and the well-being of our students will be at the forefront of all decisions made during this process.
Mobile phones and smart watches
Please see below, a copy of our school mobile phone and smart device guidelines. When reading the guidelines a mobile phone is a telephone or any device with access to a cellular (telecommunication) system, with or without a physical connection to a network.
Mobile phones and smartwatches with cellular connection are not permitted at school during school hours and are required to be handed into the school office during the school day.
Hands on Learning Donut Drive

Funds raised will be split between our Hands on Learning program and Merri River School. I have had a sampler, and they are delicious!!
Congratulations

Enrolments 2024
2024 Enrolments
It is hard to believe, but our enrolment period for 2024 is underway. We know that we have a great school here at St Patrick’s Koroit and we also know that it is through personal recommendations that other families find us.
We need your help. Please consider doing the following:
- Sharing our promotional video, this will be posted to facebook next week.
- Sharing information about our enrolment tours .Register here
- Telling family and friends about Little Learners program. Register here
- Directing people to our website.
- Liking and sharing our social media posts on facebook.
- Bringing someone along to our enrolment tours.
Help us to spread the word.
School Fees
Each year our school receives approximately 85% of funding toward the overall cost of running our school for the year from the Federal and State Governments. Consequently, our school community is required to raise the remaining 15% each year to provide the tuition, programs and resources our children need to ensure the best education. This 15% is raised through School Fees, Student Levies, donations and fundraising.
Currently, for this period in time, we have a substantial amount of outstanding school fees, we understand that there is still half of the school year to go, however, if you could give this some thought it would be appreciated. If you have any outstanding school fees it would be appreciated if you could attend to these in the near future. If you have any questions please contact Bronie or Nick and be assured of respect and total confidentiality. No child will be restricted in accessing a quality Catholic Education at St Patrick’s because of prohibitive school fees.

Our school and catering team has an amazing reputation in the Koroit and wider communities and yesterday was a testament to this! A sincere thank you to everyone who contributed in some way. THANK YOU!
