Principal's Message
Dear Parents and Carers,
First Eucharist
Congratulations to the Eucharistic candidates who made their first Holy Communion on Sunday at Infant Jesus Parish Church. The celebration was a beautiful experience that incorporated candidates, family, parish, school choir and staff. I thank everyone who contributed to making this a special celebration.
Book Week
On Thursday, our school had a sensational day celebrating this year's Book Week theme "Dreaming with Eyes Open..." It was amazing to see so many students and staff participate in the day with enthusiasm and fun which created a very positive atmosphere. We thank Mrs Celina Brown for organising the day and preparing the prizes for students who were voted to have that little bit of extra pizazz!
Closure Day today
We thank families for assisting us in having our school closure day today. The day was very productive and informative for all teaching and support staff. Our staff participated in professional development centred on our school’s writing curriculum and the improvement of our Years F-6 writing scope and sequence for learning. We worked in conjunction with Catholic Education Ballarat Education Officer, Mel Willis.
Kind regards,
Nick Murrell
Principal
