Acknowledgement of Country

St. Patrick's School acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land on which we work, the Koroitch-gundidj people of the Maar Nation. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Carers,

Great Victorian Bike Ride - Helpers needed (Saturday 26th / Sunday 27th November)

The Great Victorian Bike Ride is coming to Koroit next weekend. Riders and officials will start to arrive from Wednesday 23rd November, so look out for visitors to our town and be sure to extend a warm welcome. They will be staying at the Victoria Park Recreation Reserve and leave on Sunday 27th November for their next destination.

As a school fundraiser, our Parents and Friends are partnering with the Koroit Lions Club to offer Egg and Bacon Rolls for breakfast for the riders. We need people to volunteer to help out cooking and serving. Please text Tammy Langdon on 0428 466 129 if you can help. Helpers are needed from 5.30am - 9am Sunday 27th November.

On the Saturday, The Koroit Irish Festival is hosting the opening of the new stage at The Koroit Village Green. There will be entertainment and other stalls from 12 midday. We are hoping to run a school promotional stall for those attending. The stall will offer free activities like mindfulness colouring. If you are able to help with this it would also be greatly appreciated.
We will need helpers for set up and pack of the school mini marquee and volunteers to make sure the stall is running smoothly with access to paper/pencils/textas etc, between 12 Midday and 4pm. Please text Tammy Langdon on 0428 466 129 if you can help

I understand this is a busy time of the year and families have many commitments. I also acknowledge that the school has asked for support recently in a number of ways, Picnic in the Paddock, School Disco, catering etc. If you could find some time to fill part of one of these shifts it would be greatly appreciated.

School Disco 6-8pm tonight.

Thank you to our Parents and Friends who have got our school Disco back up and running for the first time since the pandemic hit. The Disco is tonight Friday 6pm - 8pm. Supervision will be provided by Parents and Friends volunteers. Parents/Carers will be required to sign their children in and out of the disco upon arrival and departure. There will also be sausages ($2) and slushies ($1) available to purchase at the disco. Entry is free. Senior school students have been compiling playlists from each classroom and putting posters around the school advertising the event.

I am sure many students are excited to get their ‘groove on’ next tonight!

Kind regards,

Nick Murrell

Principal

School Fees / Volunteer levy

School Fees

Currently, we have a substantial amount of outstanding school fees for the 2022 school year, we understand that the school year is still yet to conclude, however, we are getting toward the home stretch. If you have any outstanding school fees it would be appreciated if you could attend to these in the near future. If you have any questions please contact Bronie or Nick and be assured of respect and total confidentiality. No child will be restricted in accessing a quality Catholic Education at St Patrick’s because of prohibitive school fees.

Volunteer Levy

If you are yet to claim your volunteer levy for 2022, please do so as soon as possible. This will allow us to finalise 2022 school fee accounts. Volunteer levy forms are available at the office.
