Principal's Message
Dear Parents and Carers,
Koroit Irish Festival
This weekend is the Koroit Irish Festival. I thank the amazing work done so far by the Parents and Friends Irish Festival volunteer team. The amount of work going on behind the scenes is incredible, it is amazing the time and effort people are willing to put in to support the students of our school. We are truly blessed to have such a willing and able parent group. I wish all organisers, coordinators and volunteers contributing to our Irish Festival fundraising efforts the best of luck this weekend. Thank you. A special thanks to Amy Perry and Tammy Langdon for their coordination of this huge catering event.
Thank you to the many students who have signed up to join us for the procession this Saturday April 29th. We currently have over 40 students coming along, amazing!
Students will be required to gather near Duke’s Commercial Hotel at 11.45am. The procession commences at 12 midday on Saturday April 29th. Look for St Pat's staff.
Our theme is going to be a farm theme, students can (if they choose to) come dressed as a farmer or farm animal OR wear their school sports uniform top. For the procession some students will be on a trailer for the float, others will be walking alongside. This will be decided on the day. Please make your child/ren aware that they may be walking alongside the tractor and trailer and not on the trailer.
ANZAC Day School Leaders
Thank you to the four school leaders that represented our school on ANZAC Day at the Koroit War Memorial. Our student leaders laid a wreath created by our school. Our students laid a wreath constructed from rosemary harvested from our school garden, a symbol of remembrance. Our school leaders represented our school with responsibility and respect, two of our SWPBS core values. See our ClassDojo school story for images.
Kind regards,
Nick Murrell
